Greetings, All!

We are happy to announce that Catholic International University is hosting a live webinar this month. Angelicum students can study simultaneously in our Great Books Program and at Catholic International University to earn their AA or BA. Our students and their parents are warmly invited to participate in this exciting event, including live Q & A.

To learn more about this opportunity to jumpstart your college career at Catholic International, please mark your calendars for 3pm PDT / 6pm EDT on March 24th!

This webinar opportunity is specifically for our Academy. Dr. Brandon Harvey from Catholic International University will be present to provide an overview of receiving university credit in high school, degree pathways, and what to expect in an online university experience. There will also be time for questions.

If you would like to attend this webinar on March 24th at 3pm PDT / 6pm EDT, please register with the link below AND reply to this email. We will send out a reminder the day before the webinar.

Please see below for Dr. Harvey’s message to Angelicum Academy families considering our AA Track with CIU.

 Greetings Angelicum Academy families,

This is Dr. Brandon Harvey at Catholic International University. We are so excited that you might consider enrolling your child in our courses as part of the agreement between our two institutions. It has been a gift to get to know our Early College students in the classroom and in advising sessions. I thought it might be helpful to share with you some timelines for your discernment.

11th Grade Entry: For students in 11th grade or above, they can begin courses as early as the summer term going into the 11th grade year. The summer term begins at the end of May. If your child is looking to begin this summer, I would encourage you to begin the minor admissions process now since the rest of the university began registering for summer courses in November. Otherwise, 11th grade students can begin courses in the fall.

Advising and Registration Timelines: All students will be assigned an advisor and the advisor will register your student for any chosen courses. In November each year the registration process opens for Spring I (Jan), Spring II (March), and Summer terms. In June the registration process opens for Fall I (August) and Fall II (October) terms.

Webinar: Catholic International University will host webinars for prospective Angelicum Academy students/parents each spring and early summer. You can also email us any questions to help with your discernment: bharvey@catholiciu.edu

I look forward to the possibility of registering your child for a first course in the near future.
